PoleCon 2016 showcased a performance by the spectacular Men of Pole once again, representing the growing diversity we have in our pole dance community. For this week’s Pole Dance Nation Men of Pole theme, we talked to some of the male PoleCon performers to get their take on being a man in a female dominated sport.
This week’s theme is All Aerial All Day on both the Pole Dance Nation and Aerial Nation Instagram pages. Blogger Luisa Zunterer is a pole dancer who happily participates in other forms of aerial arts besides the pole. In this blog post, Luisa talks about what some of her favorite forms of aerial activity are, how they complement her pole journey, and why she is completely down for the All Aerial All Day theme.
I never would have thought pole dance in Egypt existed. At least, not until Mint, the owner of Pole Fit Egypt contacted me. She said was injured and unable to teach classes and asked if I could help.
Her solution? Find instructors willing to come and teach pole dance in Egypt.
